Pink Halite

This natural evaporated salt gem (yes, it’s a salt, and she’s salty) (Sodium Chloride) forms its these very intricate isometric crystals, they can be colourless, but also can be found in many other hues, red, blue, purple, pink, yellow, orange, grey… the colour totally depends on other matters included or “impurities”.
The name Halite, of course comes from Ancient Greek meaning Salt.
Harvested or mined from Lake Searles, Southern California, and unique to this location.
These babies do need to be kept in a dry space or container.
